jJOSE NAPOLES in the mid-seventies was still better than Duran. Looking at Duran's victory over Ray Lampkin who got stopped late due in part to his hands dropping which led to the stoppage. That Duran would never have laid a glove on the smooth moving Napoles and likely would of been on the receiving end of some well times uppercuts and short left hooks. HANDS of STONE would be hands of soft clay, and "smooth as butter" Jose would win by a decision or a knockout.
