GGG isnt ducking Ward, if that were the case Ward would have had an opponent by now

GGG has unfinished business at middleweight but with Miguel Cotto wanting to fight as a JMW masquerading as a middleweight champion, Jermain Taylor getting in trouble with the law and Peter Quillin vacating his belt only to fight for it in his next fight it doesnt look like any other middleweight champion is willing to face him

Let Golovkin massacre a top middleweight and Ward have a comeback fight after the long layoff, then we can start talking GGG-Ward

    Golovkin / Murray
    Ward / Andre Dirrell

If Golovkin cant get a fight with one of the middleweight champions I think hell have to move up in weight just so he can fight someone of note seeing as everyone is ducking him

If I was Golovkin, I'd wait a bit to see if I can get in on a fight with Cotto, Alvarez, and Mayweather before I move up. Especially if Mayweather wants the middleweight title. If it doesn't happen, then I'd move up. Can't come back down to middleweight or a catchweight below 160 if I'm comfortable moving up to 168. Golovkin is not a chicken like Mayweather. He will move up when he can't secure a big fight at middleweight with one of the ones I mentioned. Remember, you goofs who love Mayweather like to hold him to a higher level. If he decides to fight Cotto for the MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE, then he better be prepared to have MIDDLEWEIGHT CONTENDERS challenge him

Your points are well taken. But little Foyd calls himself the TBE.Of course then you will be compared with the best.Duran is onebof the best.

Fighting Hagler and Barkley certainly surpasses fighting GGG.Floyd wants no part of GGG.

GGG is a small middleweight, but he said he would come down to 154 to fight Void, but Void ran away. Vlad should be stripped of the 154 titles. SOB Ward refused to fight Stevenson, not even at 168. When asked about fighting Kovalev, Ward said that Kovalev was too big for him, yet Ward wants to fight middleweights and Jr. Middleweights...........Ward is afraid to fight outside him home town, without his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, etc. Ward has a big fight if he wants it, Stevenson and Kovalev are waiting...............

Because duran has bigger ***** than floyd. Floyd won't even touch Pacquiao but Duran fought guys like SRL, Hagler and Hearns.

What a ridiculous mentality. You have no need, as a fighter, to take on the best until you've been KO'd??! Are you serious?

    That is some biased ****.

First of all, you gotta realize that only Duran and Leonard were able to go the distance with Hagler in his title defenses.Duran was the first to do so with a prime younger Hagler.

Then Hagler was a big middleweight, one of the best ever.Duran came up from lightweigt.

Then, the decision was very close.Hagler was actually behind.Hagler had to pull out the last rounds to win it.Hamsho on the other hand got destroyed by Marvin.

Going by that logic, everyone who lost to ATGs has a better resume than Floyd.. Ortiz losing to Floyd tops anything Floyd ever done...

There's a scene in "the fighter" where Ecklund says to Ward something to the effect that, you did what I couldn't do and you got that belt! But the truth of the matter is that Ecklund going the distance with Leonard was probably a better achievement than beating Shea Neary.

Challenging yourself and coming up short against ATGs is better than taking the safe style match up over and over and creating the illusion of invincibility once you are clearly on an elite playing field with consistent performances. Ortiz isn't on that elite level and can only approach it in once in a lifetime type performances.
