Duran, a 5'7" light weight can fight Hagler & Barkley but TBE isnt expected to tangle

Possibly true, but he then held his own and in some cases beat guys like Barkley who were way bigger than him. Hell Barkley looked like a lightheavy weight he was so big.

 

Yes there is. It's called legacy. You want to be the best ever, step it up and fight the big boys. Win or lose Duran did it. He could have just retired but instead he got in the ring with Hagler, Barkley etc. And when you're out of shape and old, guess what you have left?

Better "No Mas" than "Never Has". Nothing wrong with beating and losing to one of the greatest welterweights that ever lived. Floyd has to make up some fairytale about Pacman being on juice and STILL is afraid to fight Pacman even tho he got ktfo by Marquez. Aside from that, making ridiculous demands for Pacman to leave his promoter and join him and THEN he MIGHT fight him. These threads pop up all the time cuz Floyd brings it on himself with "Tbe" b.s. I actually just yesterday used Duran fighting Hagler and Barkley to win an argument with Paulie Malignaggi who was stating that it was unfair for anyone to have asked Floyd to fight Martinez because "that would have been like asking Whitaker to fight Hopkins". I said, "no, that's a dumb comparison. Whitaker was 5'6 and maxed out at 154. Hopkins is 6'1 started his career at 175 and moved down before ending his career at back at 175. Duran was 5'7 and started his career at 135. Floyd is 5'8 and started at 130 and holds belts at 154. He could have easily did what 5'7 Cotto did and fought Martinez at a catchweight, especially since 5'7 Duran fought an all time great in Hagler in his prime at a non catchweight and Barkely as well when Duran was in his late 30's. In addition, I bet Martinez doesn't walk around any heavier than Canelo does and Floyd fought him". His reponse was to go back to bashing Pacquiao and calling him "an average fighter" who "sucks". I love Paulie but he is a huge Pacquiao hater and can't be objective whenever he comes up.

 

Floyd's max weight is 150 what is GGG's max fighting weight, probably much higher than Floyd's hunh?

I don't expect him to fight GGG because he is not only a natural middleweight but he hits harder than Sergio, Barkley and Hagler but he should have fought Martinez at a catchweight. He is ducking Pacquiao who is smaller than he is so he will NEVER fight GGG.
