Duran and Leonard made ridiculous comments. Like the fab 4 again is untouchable.

And they also did for the fabulous four, the same things happens like David Haye fights or the Kiltschko's, what is your point..? big deal, that's big time boxing.

I am making up the point about yanks supporting Ricky Hatton, about fans booing and leaving his fights..? like i said his fan-base is made up of Hip-Hop fans, and people who like to jump on something because they think its popular and a cool thing to support.

Why are people booing and leaving his fights man..?

In 30 years time will people still speak of any of Mayweather's fights like they do the fabulous four..?

Yeah Yeah, same ****, different day.

The same old "such and such fighter from the golden era would beat the **** outta such and such fighter from the current era" thread. And Floyd's name is always front and center. And yet the fact that his name alone is always the one mentioned along with the greats from that era shows how no matter what he stays winning.

First of all, don't create arguments to form around your opinion. It's obvious and sophomoric. I never said Floyd wouldn't win rounds versus Duran. This is something you made up out of thin air.

Secondly, everything you just mentioned about Mayweather, his skill set, the way he frustrates his opponents, etc. It was all done versus severely inferior competition. So, to use this as some kind of starting point to form your opinion around is, right from the get-go, illogical and worthless.

If you want to talk about how Mayweather has done a great job preserving his health and running the game to make loads of profit...okay, he is king in terms of those topics. But there is no basis in which to argue that he would beat these ATGs, because he simply has never tested himself versus that level of opposition. You have him to thank for this. For whatever reason, it hasn't happened.

    Another delusional fella.

This is what I'm talking about. Your nostalgia dickriding skills are off the charts.

And yes, people in 30 years will appreciate Mayweather 10x more than today. He will be bumped higher and higher in the ATG list while making shitloads of money in his promotional venture

Presently, Duran/Hearns are dirt poor, Hearns is punch drunk. All 3 of them have no ways of making money.

If you can't see that Duran/Hearns/Leonard are deluded, you're as blind as a ****ing bat.

They're jealous of the success Mayweather has now. Money that they never got.

That's why they come out on the daily with these comments.

Why else would they just randomly blurt this **** out unprovoked? It's because they're butthurt/jealous.

    With his spending and Gambling.

He will be broke ass Mofo in 20 years thats a fact.

Wrong. He's been gambling since 2005 and he's still rich as a mother****er.

Nothing will change. He will continue making moeny through boxing (5 more fights), money after that through his promotional venture

Guys like Larry Holmes, Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns have no way of making money. That is why they continue bashing current day fighters or fighters after their era.

They're sore because they need the limelight but it's way past their time. They're old men with nothing to fall back on but the money they made 30 years ago.

    That's just how it is.

Thomas Hearns/Duran are broke. Thomas is even punch drunk due to the punches he took as a professional
    Ray is still relatively loaded
Holmes is decently rich but nothing compared to what Mayweather/Lewis have

Why would they constantly bash today's fighters/belittle them with every chance they get?

1 reason- They're sore and need to try and stay relevant by saying "Oh I could have ko'd him"

    Lol!

This goes to the delusional FLOYD fans.

In 30 years time I will remember the
    Hagler v Hearns fight
    Leonard v Duran fights
    Leonard v Hagler

But **** I still cant remember much of the Mayweather v Dela Hoya fight and that was his biggest fight.

Fights that get remembered are the Wars and the greats but I doubt people will remember too many of Floyds fights as there booing after 5 rounds and walking out the door after 7 rounds.

    FACT

There is no shame not being the favourite over any of the fab 4. We are talking about 4 out of the top 20 fighters all time. I would not pick any basketball players today over Jordan, Bird or Magic or hackey players over Orr, Gretsky or Lemieux. Athletes may be bigger better and stronger but that does not mean they are better. Look at The Babe in babseballl

Please gimme a record of all of his gambles, his wins/losses.

You don't know how over/under he's been in his gambling ways.

He could have made millions more but you'd never know.

You do realize that most boxing experts rate Duran in the top 10 ATG's don't you. At Lightweight he's rated between 1-3 all time. And when he fought leonard he was 71-1. And you're telling me he's less skilled than Floyd, that's laughtable. Slower perhaps, less skilled no way.

I've just turned 50 and I've watched them both, and Floyd could win a decision if he could box and move for a full 12 rounds, but the pressure Duran would but on Floyd would be something he's never seen before. Personally I don't think Floyd has the power to get Duran's respect and keep him away from him and eventually Floyd gets KO'd.
