Duran and Leonard made ridiculous comments. Like the fab 4 again is untouchable.

just like all old people who think nothing is a hard as when they did it and nothing is as good a when they did it. pretty much just "back in my day we had to walk through 3 feet of snow barefoot to get to school" type thinking. Do i think floyd would beat all of them, no. i think he would lose to hearns, beat duran, it would be a toss up with leonard, and hagler is a middleweight so they wouldnt fight

It would be floyd who would have to agree to SRL demands if they were fighting not the otherway around. And why should manny agree to floyds terms?

Im presuming youve never saw Terrible Terry then, he'd beat Mayweather at 154 quite easily i think, no shame in Sugar losing to him.

I saw all 4 of those men fight in the 80's; Duran at his prime really wasn't a WW, his peak was during his incredible run at Lightweight. He had no business fighting at 147 or above, he was always the smaller man in his fights at those weight classes so it made it that much more incredible to see the run he had at 147 and beyond. That fight against Hagler was just magnificent to see, and the victory of Barkley pretty much made Duran a top 15 P4P guy of all time on most people's lists.

To me Floyd's prime probably came a few years after the Corrales fight, in fact I'd say Floyd's absolute prime was around 2005 when he fought Gatti at 140 and gave him one of the most destructive boxing lessons I ever witnessed.

I've been thinking a lot about hypothetical matchups with the ATG's after Mayweather destroyed Guerrero last week. TBH, there's very few ATG's I'd favor against a Prime Floyd between 130 and 140. I'd pick him over Arguello at 130, I'd pick him over a prime Mosley at 135 and tbh I'd favor him over Sweet Pea at 135 which now I think would be a 60/40 fight and I'd pick him over Kosta and Chavez at 140.

I'm not going to touch Armstrong at LW or Robinson at WW, the eras and styles were so different I dunno how it'd go against Hank at 135 with that aggressive nature he fought in, but I'd imagine Robinson at a prime 147 would be favored greatly over anyone he fought.

Out of the magnificent 4 at WW-MW, I only favor Hagler and Hearns about 60/40 against him just for their sheer size and power advantage but I'm not 100% confident they'd be able to get to him to KO him. I'd call it 50/50 against Ray Leonard at 147, Ray has more power in both hands and is quite a complete fighter, but Floyd's defense to me is better than SRL which could be the equalizer in that hypothetical H2H. I'd favor FLoyd against Duran at 47,although Duran is a helluva boxer in his own right with great technical ability that's quite underrated, the handspeed and footspeed would be too much for Roberto and Floyd would frustrate him ala Leonard-Duran II.

I want to see how FLoyd does his next 5 fights and what quality his opposition will be. If he continues this dominating streak, it's going to be hard to keep this guy out of the top 12-15 P4P of all time. To me, he's already jumped over Whitaker which is saying a lot because Sweet Pea is truly an ATG.

The funny thing about these match up is what fights can be used to measure how these guys would perform against one another ..

Duran holds a win over a prime SRL who was more of a complete boxer than Floyd was ..Who can Floyd be measured with ? Corrales ? An already used and abused Gatti or an over the hill Delahoya ? See there is nothing to really gauge Floyd by ! Outside of his technical skills against lesser guys who's he really beat that was on

Duran's level boxing wise and ring IQ wise ? I'll answer ..No One !!

And I don't even have too talk Leonard or Hearns ..Because he also loses to both of them

The man was scared of Manny a guy who he would soundly beat Floyd wouldn't even fight him in his prime ..So there is no point in discussing this ..Duran would have been too much for him !

    Duran could out point him
SRL would outwork him, late stoppage
Hearns would kill him, just like pwilliams would have done if he didnt duck him
Haggler would eat mayweather alive, although, I believe of the 4 haggler would be the one mayweather would have the best chance of beating due to matchups
