Duran and Leonard made ridiculous comments. Like the fab 4 again is untouchable.

Since most of boxing is around weight limits, a generation getting bigger means nothing except for the heavyweight scene.
It only means there are relatively less men in the lower weightclass than in the higher weightclass.

Floyd probably only has a good chance at beating Duran as he is closest to Mayweather his best weightclass: sfw.

Duran would be easy work. The boxers today are still faster, stronger, and in some cases bigger/longer.

They're only bigger in the hw division.

Other divisions are limited by size, so fighters of today (except hw) are as big as the fighters of the past.
With possible exceptions of those who use PEDs(Diuretics especially) to cut a lot of weight (Chavez Jr)

Duran would have ate Mayweather and his little cute shoulder roll at 135. Leonard and Hearns would have eaten him at Welter. Mayweather against Hagler wouldn't even be fair. It would be one man chasing the other from start to finish.

Ray also beat Duran easily two times. Ray fought Duran's fight which Floyd would not since he would be stopped if he did.

This is true. Obviously Mayweather will never get a chance to fight legends like Duran or Hearns or Leonard, but he can still fight and take some risks vs. Canelo if he wants a legacy.

Um, maybe because they were the best of their respective era's and they tested each others mettle by fighting each other. :deal
