Duran and Leonard made ridiculous comments. Like the fab 4 again is untouchable.

Their time is over. So many people just level Mayweather out, he's an ATG of this era. All the cross era talk is bull**** and amounts to nothing in the end. I appreciated the Fab Four and now I appreciate Mayweather for his talents.

Junior Mayweather would have avoided them all in this era. In their era, he'd have no choice but to fight them.
    Leonard over Junior Mayweather.
    Junior over Duran.
    Hearns over Junior.
    Hagler over Junior.

yeah that's a wise approach. At the end of the day everything else is speculation.

Floyd should take notes on the fab 4. The reason the fab 4 is remembered is because they fought them all. All of them lost , but they all fought them all. They improved boxing. Purists of the sport will say that is the most important contribution of boxers is to enhance the sport. That is the most you can expect from guys. When Floyd retires he will regret never fighting Pacman. That was his contemporary and someone who would have given him a legacy. A strong legacy. Like them or not the fab 4 will always last the test of time. This argument isn't even about who would beat who it is about fighting anyone you can and giving boxing a good name. That is why Mike Tyson is remembered so well. He gave to the sport and he did try and fight everyone he could. That sort of contribution is something Floyd has not given yet. It has been all about him.

Mayweather himself invites this type of debate when he claims to be the best of all time. So, I don't see why his dickriding fan base whines when he's put in his place. Sorry, his resume simply doesn't stack up...it never will. Just move on.:hey

Hey, remember after the fight they were interviewing Duran through an interpreter. he says, `I wasnt in good shape for this fight, if he tries to fight me again next time I`ll kill him`,I`ll be in better shape ` The interviewer is looking, stunned and wondering if he heard it correctly... Duran was Duran !!

I appreciate Mayweather also, but what I do not appreciate is a guy who has not looked for the top competition like the fab 4 guys did, and then he says now he is the greatest ever. If he didn't say he was the greatest ever and said "I am no the greatest ever because I am in boxing for making money, which limits my ability to take on the toughest challenges" I would respect that. Ray Leonard did have this approach later in his career after Hagler. He wanted to get 2 titles with Lalonde by doing a weight game thing at 168 pounds, and then tried to beat Hearns when Tommy got old etc. But Ray did all this after he fought the best. Floyd has been doing in his career what Ray did just to cap off his career with good wins over Lalonde,Hearns and Duran.

Exactly. If he is going to say he is the best ever then fight the best. I never claim Tommy is the best ever, but I know he tried to fight the best, which is better than never fighting the best at all and staying undefeated.

You can tell that they're bitter as ****, similar to relationship Holmes/Tyson/Lewis have. Holmes is so damn bitter about them because he made pennies compared to those two.

Similar to these guys to Mayweather

I don't think it is about money. The fab 4 earned good money. And Floyd is smart to earn that sort of money, although no way do I see him earning money like Oscar Delahoya. Floyd looks like the kind of guys who spends everything he has after 10 years or so with bad investments.

Thats not a fact.....and what do you mean by "better"? Are we simply talking about P4P Skills in the mastery of the sweet science? Because if so then Id argue that Mayweather is in fact "better" than all of the Fab 4 of the 80s
