Duran and Leonard made ridiculous comments. Like the fab 4 again is untouchable.

:lol:You would love it if resume didn't factor into it, wouldn't you. Then you could say "Mayweather beats em all"...but unfortunately for you, and Floyd, this is not the case. Resume has everything to do with everything, because it shows what a fighter can do against a particular LEVEL of competition. You say Mayweather beats Duran for sure...based upon what? Based upon what win? There is no performance you can point to and say 'Mayweather wins because of his victory over (insert name)'. It doesn't exist. He a very skilled guy who's never tested his ability high end, and that's why all the discussion of him beating guys who did test their abilities against high end talent a laughable discussion.

"What does resume have to do with who would win a fight?" :rofl Oh boy, gotta love the critical thinking skills on this board.

    Especially regarding Mayweather.

Duran said himself there isn't anyone good enough. He should take notes on his dedication. Losing to Laing :-(

    Floyds Career in a Nutshell

    Best wins

    1. Diego Corrales 31-0 at the time Lightweight
Best win before the fight Derrick Gainer (Best win after Jose L Castillo)
Floyd won TKO 10 (Prime Corrales at his best weight)

    2. Ricky Hatton 43-0 at the time Welterweight
Best win before the fight Kostya Tszyu (Best win after Paul Malignaggi)
Floyd won TKO 10 (Close to Prime Hatton fight not at his best weight class)

    3. Oscar Dela Hoya 38-4 at the time Junior Middle
Best win Before the fight Pernell Whitaker (Best win after Steve Forbes)
Floyd won SD (Well past it Dela Hoya fight not at Floyds best weight)

    4. Genaro Hernandez 38-1 at the time Super Feather
Best win Before the fight Azumah Nelson (Last fight Retired after this fight)
Floyd won RTD 8 (A past it great Champ aginst fresh young Floyd)

    5. Jose Luis Castillo 46-5-1 at the time Lightweight Rematch
Best win Before the fight Stevie Johnston (Best win after Diego Corrales)
Floyd won UD (1st fight 80% of writers had Castillo winning Both Prime)

Thats the way most see Floyds Best wins now should I do say Ray Leonard

    1. Tommie Hearns 32-0 at the time Welterweight
Best win before fight Pipino Chuevas (Best win after fight Roberto Duran)
SRL won TKO 14 (Both Prime IMO and at there most Lethal)

    2. Roberto Duran 72-1 at the time Welterweight
Best win before fight Sugar Ray Leonard (Best win after Iran Barkley)
SRL won TKO 8 (Both Prime and Duran had just beat SRL)

    3. Marvin Hagler 62-2-2 at the time Middleweight
Best win before fight Tommie Hearns (Was his last fight Retired)
SRL won SD (SRL had not fought for 3 years and never at 160 weight limit)

    4. Wilfred Benitez 38-0-1 at the time Welterweight
Best win before fight Antonio Cervantes (Best win after Roberto Duran)
SRL won TKO 15 (Both pretty much Prime at there ideal weight again)

    5. Donny Lalonde 31-2 at the time Middleweight
Best win before fight Mustafa Hamsho (Best win after fight Darryl Fromm)
SRL won TKO 9 (Leonard well past it and Lalonde after loss was never the same)

Now if you really want me to do other of the fab 4 I will to make a Point but I think we can see the difference I mean out 3 years to come back to fight a Beast in Hagler as the Middleweight Champ compared to Floyds Marquez FARCE of a fight and making him go up 2 weight classes.

    It does NOT EVEN COMPARE.

First off numerous fighters while Duran was at lightweight lasted the entire fight. Yes Duran won UD's but plenty of those fighters were able to take rounds from him based off the judges scoring. Now you dont think that Mayweather could go 10, 12, or 15 rounds vs Duran and win rounds with his boxing skill and defense? :patsch:patsch:patsch

Wilfred Benitez beat Duran by UD and Benitez isnt a better all around boxer than Mayweather?:nono Benitez also only has a 50% KO ratio. Floyds is much higher than that. Mayweather with his defense, speed, accuracy, footwork and ring IQ, he could easily outbox Duran and frustrate him. Is duran a smarter fighter than Mayweather? Of course not, no smart fighter would do cocaine, drink, smoke, balloon up in weight, not take training camp seriously and willingly eat punches to the head. The only advantage Duran would have vs Mayweather is power, just like every other Mayweather opponent that he has faced....

Floyd has great skills, but would he have fought him?

What would be a realistic percentage?

How would Floyd have reacted to Duran questioning his manhood and threatening to kill him etc?

I think Duran would definitely have intimidated him.

I asked you so you could tell me which of those fighters that were great from the 80's was Mayweathers size. 1 fighter:lol:...now we all know that Mayweather is a much greater fighter than Arguello and more skilled. So imagine if all of those other guys that you mentioned who are naturally bigger fighter by the way, imagine if Floyd was their same size with the exact same skill set. Mayweather at 130 & 135 had a lot of knockouts. So imagine if Mayweather was a natural WW with natural power at that weight like he had at 130:lol::lol:..He would bust a lot of those guys from the 80's up. No doubt about that.

This is like asking who would win...Hagler or Ali...lol

But you are forgetting one major factor.

Out of the Fab 4 all 4 of them had more Power and Boxing skill than what Floyd has ever faced.

    Lets compare Power and skill
    Hearns too say Dela Hoya
    Hagler too say Hatton
    Duran too say Corrales

And the man that most think beat Mayweather in his Prime
    Leonard to CASTILLO.

Mate its all good too say Floyd is skillful and wouldnt get tagged but take the Mosley shot for instance.

If that was Hagler or Hearns that Tagged him Mayweather would be dead.
