The question of the thread was how Pacquiao had increased his ko power. TKO from accumulation is nothing to do with power.

Let's be honest. Hatton's lifestyle caught up to him, added to the fact that he didn't keep his gloves up against Manny. You'd think most world class fighters would know to keep their hands up.

Completely agree. Hatton fought like a bum, and got knocked out like one. Walking in against Pacquiao with his head high and gloves low was just stupid.

Blowing up to 180-190 pounds between each fight isn't helping either as you pointed out.

Because PAc takes either roids or HGH that's why his power has increased lol... Alex Ariza has the man on anything that can't be detected, and that's why he won't take any tests lol...

No one has knocked Hatton at 147 before too. Does that mean PBF is on PEDs too?

Floyd fans will tell you that 147 is not Hatton's natural fighting weight even though Ricky's natural weight seemed to be north of 170 pounds.

    How do you know this?
Why did you know all of this already and keep quiet until Floyd Sr brought it up?
Why were you allowing Pacquiao to step in the ring with other boxers while he was so obviously cheating?
What type of boxing fan does this?

Pac hasn't actually gained that much weight you moron, all the haters here have always pointed out that his jump from 126/130 - 147 is too great but in reality his actual fighting weight from 2006 to the present only fluctuates by 4-5 pounds.

and you might ask where the extra power comes from, it's because 140-147 is his natural fighting weight and in these weights he isn't starving and killing himself to make weight.

These examples are terrible. They were either not punchers like Pacquiao or they actually did carry their power.

Duran beat Barkley to a pulp. His 10th round knockdown showed he still had power but he was never a huge puncher. Hearns did carry his power over 175lbs. Leonard showed his power in stopping Lalonde. Arguello showed his power was still with him when he stopped Costello, brutally.

Most boxers will be different because most don't choose to move up to bigger weights, like Pacquiao has done. Someone like Arguello didn't choose to fight over 130lbs until he could no longer make it. Pacquiao is different and moved up in his prime, instead of when he became less physically gifted.

Threadstarter do look up some fight vids on these greats because you have no idea what you are talking about. Leonard and Armstrong were never considered ko power punchers as neither was Hagler. Now, having said that, late in their careers, Duran a lightweight knocked down a much larger Iran Barkley, Leonard a welterweight brutally ko'd a hard punching light heavyweight, and Hagler as you should know since you call yourself a fan of the Marvelous One ko'd the hard punching John Mugabi right before the Leonard fight and right before he retired.

They might of lost speed, they might of lost stamina, but the last thing they ever lost was KO power.

What the **** are you talking about you soft brained ******? If he was on stuff that 'couldn't be detected' then why would he not want to take a test. I demand olympic-style testing on you before you're allowed to post anymore of this ****.

You only started "thinking" about this when Mayweather Sr and his son wanted you to. Good job.
