There is no completely foolproof way to handle size differences in boxing. Weight classes are the most sensible, but it's still an imperfect system. Duran moved up 3 classes to fight a guy who eventually became a cruiserweight. Sometimes the bulked up little guy comes in stronger than the weight- drained big guy. But not this time. I hate the term ' stylistic advantage' because that's not what this is....it is a physical advantage. Duran's greatness allowed him to compete with bigger guys, but not in this case. Hearns had too much leverage and the speed to utilize it.
