Interesting enough both Pacino and De Niro wanted to be in the "Hands of Stone" movie coming out soon because both are very good friends of Duran. Pacino was originally picked for the part of Arcel but due to other commitments had to back out, and in stepped De Niro. I'm looking for to watching this as it could be a hell of a good movie if they do it right.
30 years after having seen the film, the play acting and cast are still very enjoyable. But i find the attempt to present the main character as some kind of anti hero laughable. Selling drugs to kids is ok with him. He just doesn't want to blow them to king come though... Oliver Stone is a fake ass hollywood commie....
