It wouldn't surprise me if the first 3-4 rounds pan out as you suggest, with Manny's speed both of hand and feet resulting in him winning the early rounds, but then I think as Duran starts landing more to the body and as it starts to become more of a war, then Duran takes over the fight and somewhere along the lines he catches Pac along the ropes and doesn't let him go..he may have to do this several times to stop Pac, but the rentless Duran does just that. Pac who isn't use to bulling and doesn't like having to run away from anyone is a willing participant in an inside fighting war, but unfortunately for him, it's one of the few times in his life he's outclassed. By all accounts Pac found the Margo fight tough and was pretty hurt, even though he won. If he thought Margo was a handful, he'd really find out the meaning of the world when a prime Duran was coming at him, especially after Manny threw a 3-4 punch combo of which one or two punches landed and noticed Duran sneering at him, ..and moving forward..

Pacman is too fast. But he couldn't get in a war with Duran. If he boxed him and used his speed. he wins easily enough. Duran would have an excuse like he didn't train and people would buy the excuse as they always did everytime he lost to a great like Benitez,Leonard or Hearns.

it isn't about being harsh. It is simple really. Duran lacks the wins over ATG fighters. His sole win over Leonard was because of Ray wanting to fight Duran's fight. The fact Ray completely outclassed Duran means something.

Duran would win by KO, taking nothing for Pac his is an all time great, even against Margarito after only 12 rounds he was spent. manny would not win that fight.

Duran on points, 9-3 in a 12 rounder, maybe a late stoppage at 15 rounds, think he would be able to tag Pacquiao with clean inside rights, Pacquiao is game as he will win some early rounds though

Packy is the smallest welter with great muscle tone to ever hold a belt there, but Duran of Canada in 1980 was 145 pounds of toned muscle and hot as hell to get at SRL and win the WBC title....

I have no doubt that Duran knocks the **** outta Packy in a time machine.... Duran too strong at welterweight for Packy....

pac clobbers duran fast i dont see this fight going past 2 rounds as in the first round pac starts clobbering the slower duran with all kinds of punishing blows then in the second duran gets nailed with unanswered shots which sends duran crashing face first to the canvas and stays down for the full 10 count before being administered smelling salts to awaken:yep:think

Duran stops pacman late after dominating from the 6th round onwards. Manny may have moments early with his movement and speed but Durans intelligent pressure is too much and stops him around the 11th for me

A 'good big man' will beat a 'good little man'. May not always be true, but in this case it will be true.
