Duran that beat barkley v Benn that beat barkley

I think Benn was lucky here with the 3-knockdown rule, and lucky with getting away with so many fouls.
I'm not saying Barkley was as good as Benn on this night. But Benn wasn't significantly better. Perhaps this fight was just getting started. I know, the rules are the rules.
And outside of this ONE FIGHT, Barkeley's resume stacks up very well against Benn's.

Having said all that, I think Benn might fare better against Duran than Barkely did based simply on his firepower and explosiveness.

I'm not sure Duran really beat Barkely either though. People remember the knockdown and some sharp counter punching, but I think Barkely might have won enough rounds for a draw to be fair.

 

Agreed. Barkley may be one of the more mysteriously overrated fighters in this forum (I assume due to Duran's fan club?)

I think Benn was lucky in the fight if it had been allowed to go on I would have not been surprised if Barclay won

But to answer the question I would pick Duran

 

Duran could win, outbox Benn or even KO him.
But I have strong doubts. Benn's going to hit him with brutal punches.
