teeto calm down dude. he gave a list and duran is at 15 the past 30. Add in there other greats and Duran is nearing 20. Do the math. Duran isn't going to go higher on his list if he adds more eras lol . get over it. You are acting like a 15 year old kid with a face full of pimples and a full diaper! I think his list is terrible. He must be a fan of Sugar RAy and Thomas Hearns to put Tommy at number 2. I will give him credit he put everyone in there he should except Carbajal. I would put Ricardo Lopez over Carb.

 

Which is why I responded to it as such. I don't expect much from the guy. I am tired of not actually being able to have a normal discussion bout Duran period because of guys like him though.

you guys want to say Duran is the greatest of all time and have no one tell you otherwise. That is not a normal discussion. I have a list here I made months ago of my top 50 fighters and I should find it, and Duran was near 32 I remember, which will get all you guys riled up and upset. I made that list of the top fighters of the last 30 years on someone else's thread just a few months ago, so I used it since I figure you guys would realize that if he is 15 in the top 30, he certainly would be better than 20 on the bigger list.

coincidentally not a single person in this thread arguing with you thinks Duran is the greatest pound for pound fighter of all time. not a single one.

 

mag has all you guys going against him and still I dont think you guys have what you call checkmated him!!! which is hilarioius. What you don't understand is that almost everyone in this forum has had this same debate with MAG on Duran's greatness. Multiple times. In the General and Classic. No point in even really arguing with him now, I just do it for the laughs.

 

I never said he was not great, I said he was not 1-10 ATG and people get upset. And I have explained why I think he is not. One win against an ATG fighter, and then Ray beat him easily in the rematch and losing to all the other ATG fighters he ever fought.

 

I read it all. Mag goes over the same thing over and over and you guys argue back and say the same arguments back and really no one is winning anything. I think both you guys should just stop the argument it is getting you nowhere. You think Duran is the best and he does not Sort of simple. This is what you call getting nowhere!

You don't have Duran in the top 25, not the top ten, the top 25. If you are going to make this claim then you need to be able to back it up. So now, who are the 25 that you have over him all time?

Nobody is upset, it's a simple question. You said it so now you back it up.
