I know I have seen his argument on Duran on other threads. mag is one of those guys who lives on esb!!!! To simplify what he is saying I just think he seems to think Duran could not up his game when he had to and you guys think Duran was always on the top level but got old and out of shape when he fought those great guys.

 

winning an argument on esb does not matter to me. I have brought up facts and opponents to back up my argument. But I honestly don't think you guys are proving I am wrong if that is what you mean by winning. So far, you have not said how high you rank Duran, or why you think he deserves to be there. What fights put him at this high ranking?

 

That is funny. I live on ESB? I don't live on ESB.. I post here at the most 10 posts a day as the stats show. Sometimes more and sometimes less. Lol.

 

I was talking about the seperate debate me and you had today, you know the one between post 44 and post 68, the one in which I shut you down completely and you left the thread for hours. The seperate debate, yes? That one.

 

I haven't claimed to have a list. YOU HAVE, THEREFORE YOU MUST NOW BACK THIS UP. Where is the list?

 

I have backed up everything except to give the official top 25 list, which is immaterial if Duran is 15 in the last 30 or so years. Duran's losses to Ray in the rematch (easily) and then losing to Benitez for a title which he later won at the same weight vs. Davey Moore, and then losing to Hearns disqualifies him from being top 10. Arguing with me and not bringing up facts why you think Duran is great will not make Duran greater.

 

your ramblings don't justify that you claimed to have a list and can't produce it. The only words that count are the ones that make up your list.

I have't even said Duran is great, why do you assume that? For all you know I think Duran is ****.

It is you that has made the claims, not me. Now back them up.

 

I left the thread because it was early morning here in California. I don't mind if you shut me down. I have been shut down on ESB before, but nothing you said on this thread so far as proven anything or shut me down.
I have not gone back to look at 44-68, but I welcome anyone to go and look at those threads and tell me if I was shut down. I don't think so since I would have felt I was being shut down, and I didn't feel it.

honestly what is embarassing is that you actually think you shut me down. Have anyone you know go to these numbers 44-68 and see if you shut me down. I bring up facts and you are stuck on what I said and trying to prove me wrong, instead of defending some idea you have about boxing and Duran. Are you here on ESB to talk boxing or to shut people down? So far you are not doing much of either.

 

if this is not about Duran and a passion you have about Duran and how great he is, why are you arguing and what exactly are you arguing about?

 

44-68 was all about you saying that 'stoppages are domination' etc etc, posters came in and agreed with me immediately after it and started to comment on how bad your posts were.
