Duran v Chavez who wins catch weight?

Who have you seen outmuscle Chavez in his prime ? because this at a catch weight in their prime. I cant envisage Duran pushing a prime Chavez back i really cant.

Duran's Boxing skills are why he was successful at 147lbs. Also how many fights had Chavez had by the time he stepped up to 147lbs? Im all for agreeing that Duran was past his best when he got outslicked by Benitez,Laing, because they guy had, had 70 + fights by that time, but please dont pretend that Chavez run at 147lbs was any kind of yard stick.

Chavez at 147 should only be used as a yard stick of how Chavez did not have the Boxings skills to negate the weight disparity like Duran, and how he had WELL over 50 fights by the time he went to 147.

I dont see Duran stopping Chavez, but i can understand why you pick Duran. I picked Duran to win, because as you say he was more versatile. What i have a problem with is morons that think Chavez would be a walk in the park like he was some tin can of a fighter.

Chavez is far to tough/durable/relentless in his prime to be take lightly by anybody. I dont understand why people in this thread are getting so annoyed TBH. You would think i just said Chavez would KO him in 1 round to here these mofo's

What is it you want to tell me anyway? Its not like i said Chavez would win. My only argument is that he should not be disrespected and taken lightly. I have not disrespected Duran either so............

I dont care how much knowledge you think you have. Ive seen both guys fight, and NO one will convince me that Duran would roll over Chavez easily. No one!!
