    You're stretching ;)

He looks ok to me. How many rounds did you score against him? Are you somehow trying to say an extra 7-8 pounds made Curry crap? Or did you never see his obvious talent? Baez went 4 with Hearns fighting for his welterweight title. History is littered with poor fighters extending far better ones on the odd occasion, or going further than one would think. It's easy to selectively nitpick on almost any fighter. Even post Honeyghan he looked great against McCallum before getting caught. Outslicking Mike in the man he was is no easy gig.

If Duran's at his best, as he was in the Moore fight, Curry's not beating him.

Duran would drag Curry into the type of fight that he didn't have the intangibles to win.

Mentally, Curry was a FAR CRY from Leonard.

    Duran would make him fold.

The best 154 Duran ko's the best 154 Curry . Davy Moore may have had a better chin at 154 than Curry so I'd see Donald going out in about 7 or 8 too.

What you (and many others in the thread) only need to look at is the actual thread request.

It's not a best for best thread, it is Curry vs Duran in early 86 - real time.

Does that start to clear things up? Curry had just ko'd McCrory and Duran had just come off an 18 month layoff, beating Zambrano 9-10-0 while weighing 163 pounds.

Does Duran even make 154 anymore without severe detriment? How rusty in he? How is he mentally? How long had he been partying on the Hagler/Hearns bonanza?

Are you backing this Duran with confidence?
