Mayweather has got no shot here, his punches ain't keepin Hands of stone off him, and he hasn't got the footspeed of Leonard. Eventually Durans non stop barrage would wear Floyd down and he might even succumb to a K.O late in the fight

this is exactly what I would think. The fight wouldn't happen. I give Mayweather a good chance to win, but he wouldn't fight Duran, and I doubt he will fight Pacman.

I think Duran wins, but these threads never give Mayweather a fair shake, people saying Duran destroys Mayweather or beats him with ease arent looking at things objectively here.

Mayweather has a style that gives Duran some problems in my opinion, but I'd pick Duran to outwork him to a decision over 12 or 15.

Leonard and Mayweather are nothing alike bar being black and quick. And didn't DeJesus beat LW Duran (not at LW granted)? So he's hardly unbeatable is he?

Ahh the famous walking through punches strategy

Off days aside, both fighters at their best at the weight I`d take Duran over both 12 & 15 but 12 rounds would be better for Mayweather, Roberto might be able to stop him in the 13-15 round.

    Fair points

Sure, Duran can be beaten, and Dejesus was not the only one who managed to do so.

However, lets not forget that Dejesus (a very good fighter himself) beat a very young Duran, who was still a work in process.

Once Duran peaked (late 70s) he was untouchable at LW. Thus, I dont think PBF has a real chance here

I'm a big big fan of Mayweather but Duran is something else, and that goes for when comparing him to almost every other lightweight ever, not just Mayweather.

You can put Mayweather up against almost any other 135 and at least find a good share of positives, but Duran is just an animal there.

Duran pretty much operates on a different plain to floyd.

The only advantage Duran has in this fight is Mayweather's brittle hands.
Mayweather dose very good against brawlers N'dou, Gatti and Hatton.
Duran not so well against boxers Leonard and Benitez. (Oh I forgot those fights weren't at his natural weight. I'm sure for a guy suposedly walking around close to 165 135 was a naturl weight. He would have lost to light weight versions of Hearns and Bentiez.)
Mayweather is the bigger man in the ring. Because he will be in better shape he will have more in the tank. Mayweather will weigh 140 on fight night Duran 160. In the long run the boxer who is closer to fight weight has the advantage.
In the early rounds Mayweather potshots Duran frustrating him, never standing and traiding. Mayweather will start to land more and more lead right hands. As the fight progresses Mayweather will become the agresser backing Duran up still unable to be hit. He'll taunt Duran who will find himself helpless to do anything.
If a more experanced Duran quit against Leonard a less experanced Duran quits against Mayweather.

I think this is perhaps the worst analysis of a fantasy fight i've ever seen.

I genuinely cannot believe you've compared duran to n'dou. I also can't believe your prediction is that mayweather will taunt duran into quitting.
