Tony KO's him too. Vito's cutting problem would not serve him well in this one.

I've only seen a few of Antuofermo's fights but I thought he looked very average. I had the first Hagler fight 12-3 (roughly) in favour of Hagler. I think Duran has the speed and mobility to win a wide points decision, unless the judges are blind, as they were in the first Hagler fight.

I had that wide for Marvelous too. Although I think Antuofermo was a fine champion and very tough fellow.

Duran several classes above the talented, under rated Vito ... Duran by decision or a cuts stoppage ...

Duran against a middleweight? Easy, Duran. He edged the Hagler fight but was robbed due to reverse-racism and Barkley was Monzon re-incarnate. 1980 is Montreal, 'the city that never needs a poo' territory and he'd of been very close to SSJ1

Add Antuo to the list of MW's Duran would slay(or general forum is one up)...

    Benn
    Eubank
    Mclellan
    Calzaghe
    Toney
    Antuofermo

I agree, Pachilles. Duran got robbed. Duran won. IMO he won the first five and in the final five he won the 1st 3. There were no KD's or ****.

Duran was faster, a better boxer and had much superior punching leverage. Inside, Vito would have his superior physical strength and conditioning neutralized until after El Cholo clinched the scoring. [I don't like projecting outcomes on cuts, so I'll grant Antuofermo the benefit of a doubt here.]

Duran outboxes Antuofermo to win a decision clearly. Vito makes a very good late run but not soon enough to cancel out Roberto's lead.
