Duran and Hagler sparred a tactical PPV fight in 1983 that clearly was won by Hagler despite the narrow margin rendered in the end. Duran has his fanatics all around the globe.. Hagler is also liked, but not as fanatical as Duran is...

Duran was ill prepared for Hearns in 1984 to the max. Duran lost too much weight in training and was limp as an old man's dick upon entering the ring in Vegas to get iced by Hearns at 154 pounds... Still, I doubt that Duran or anyone could beat Hearns at 154 in 1984...

"Duran-Sims" easily could've been a draw... Duran lost a point for a bull**** low blow late in the fight that haunted him on the cards in Vegas later in 1986...

"Duran-Leonard 3" sucked ass in 1989... 'Nuff said...

"Duran-Paz 1" was good at 165 pounds in 1994. Paz had the points, but Duran carved up Paz like a turkey over 12 rds...

"Duran-Joppy" of 1998 was a farce / mismatch. Duran was 147 yrs old and had no bidness being in a real title fight at that juncture...

These fights were not very interesting. It was a shell of Duran vs. a Camacho who could not beat any top fighters.

I thought Duran and Camacho fought a good fight worthy of note in 1996 and that both men were solid fighters between 147 to 160 pounds, too... Perhaps not champs, but solid... Cheers...

I agree. You'd have to be a diehard Camacho or Duran fan to care about either of these fights. I thought they were both way past their prime and didn't bother watching either fight.

    I thought that all 4 "Duran-Paz" & "Duran-Camacho" fights were fun between 1994 to 2001...

Again, I also like Duran's two fights with Castro in '97 as well...

I think that Duran VS Camacho 1 was a good fight, not great but they still looked ok.

These fights were fun. All were great characters that were competitive as hell even past their best. These guys all truly disliked each other so they fought as well as they could, except maybe Camacho, but still they were all entertaining, especially the Paz Duran fights.

"Paz-Duran 2" of 1995 was a huge letdown to me... Duran weighed 167 1/2 pounds and fought like his legs were in a mud patch... Duran always struggled and appeared slow and thick above 160...

And Paz was so roided up in them fights it makes me sick... No way was Paz naturally trained...

Yeah Duran looked like a barrel, but they hated each other so much it made it entertaining. Paz was roided up and Kevin Rooney was screaming in his ear. It was testastorone molitov cocktail.

After further review of Duran's challenge to Joppy in August of 1998, I must say that Duran looked soft at 159 pounds for that title fight... But, what really bothers me is, he got an additional TWO months to prepare for Joppy when the initial date of June was cancelled in New York.... Duran's body tone was soft, not tight at all... Cheerio...

Duran would have beaten Leonard. In the second fight, Duran was fat and not in shape, in the third, Duran had Leonard's number, cutting him, but too late. Late in Uno Mas, Duran catched Leonard. Hector Ko'd Ray, Roberto would have send him in permanent retirement. The judges prevented their fourth fight! Simple!

Duran got robbed in the first Camacho and Paz fights. Stone cold larceny.
