Duran by mid-rounds stoppage. Curry will clip him a few times but Duran comes at him from a variety of angles and changing up on him, varying the angle and intensity of the shots until he grinds Curry down around the 8th or 9th.

Duran by clear UD. Prime Curry would not be stopped. Duran at 147 wasn't a big puncher and Curry was very strong and defensively proficient.

Curry on points .at his best curry would outbox Duran in a similar fashion to Benitez.

Donald curry 1983-1986...such a versatile talented world champion..he could do it all and proved he could beat any style...such a pretty boxer too...Duran wouldn't know whether to fucck him or to fight him...

The Duran of 147 of 1979-1980 beats any version of curry...curry was not as tough or strong as srl...he couldn't hold off the marauding beast possessed of such skilful defence and moves.....yes I can very easily conceivably see a scenario where Donald does exactly what Benitez did to Duran but that was to the "other" Duran of the no mas/batten/laing era.

The Duran I'm talking about would have beat curry he was too relentless.Durans unique and quirky offences would negate currys skills and power

Benitez only trained 9 days and lost to srl so I can't say so easily if a peak Duran beats a peak Benitez...hell I can't tell any of you fellas if a peak srl or peak Hagler beats a peak Benitez...that boy Benitez may have been the best that ever lived according to cooter jennings the old man who lives on our corner

Curry might had the skill to outbox Duran, but Duran was too tough for him.

I love Donald Curry but this would be a brutal match for him. The Duran of Montreal who bullied and outpointed Sugar Ray Leonard would have done a number on the Lone Star Cobra. Donald was a great talent and watching him in his prime was like beauty in motion. But he simply didn't have the durability to withstand a wrecking Machine like Manos De Piedra.

Don't know.......Curry had the skills to do it, but Duran was a rough customer. Because of that, I think Duran comes from behind, and stops Curry in the 13th.

I think Duran gives him a brutal beating eventually knocking him out. Look what Honeygun did to him. Duran would kill him. I think even the duran after no mas would beat him if in shape. I know he had some good wins, and I did think of him as a good boxer/puncher, but he never really impressed me all that much
