Giardello UD. Joey showed his capabilities in outpointing washed up greats with his decision win over Robinson.

You are right in saying SRR was washed up ,but Giardello was 33 ,hardly in the first flush of youth.

He looked to have found a fountain of youth in his next match. 32 is not awfully old for a boxer like Giardello, 42 is though.

Giardello would run circles around the chubby LW.

I think Duran takes a few more chances against Joey than he did against Marvin, and doesn't fair any better for doing so... He'll provide Joey with just enough countering opportunities to take a clear but still competitive decision.

Giardello SD win. After a hard fought mystical battle, the White Wizard banishes The Poo Demon back to from whence it came.
