Duran would have to be at his absolute fired up best like against Moore. This Duran i slightly favour over Jackson and i make even with McCallum, maybe. Anything less and McCAllum scores an easy points win with Jackson being even a chance of stoppage.

Duran had the knack of positioning his body in a way that made it a difficult target to attack. SRL was planning on going downstairs in Montreal, but Roberto's slanted posture made this problematic. McCallum would not have likely been able to perform his typical downstairs assault.

However, McCallum loved using SRR's films as instructional material, greatly admiring how Robby put combinations together. As ring savvy as Duran was, this would have been a fascinating distance matchup. If in peak condition, Duran takes the decision, but in peak condition, Duran would not have been above the WW limit. At 154, this one's a toss-up depending on Duran's motivation.

    Duran-Jackson would be a rendition of Duran-Cuevas.

    Well done, Duedenum.

Inspired Duran barely gets by McCallum, and KOs Jackson.

What is more likely giving the historical record is a UD loss to both but especially McCallum.

Duran had a bad habit of underestimating foes based on skewed perceptions. He really did write off Hearns as a "chicken" after the Leonard stoppage. Stepping into the ring against Leonard while in poor condition tells me that his brain didn't always function right.

Duran looses a SD against McCallum and is 50/50 against The Hawk

I could see Duran possibly beating Jackson, but if he get caught, it's a wrap.McCallum, I think Roberto loses a close SD to.

I think McCallum would win a close tough decision over Duran. I believe Duran would give a good account of himself and probably do more damage to Mike McCallum. I could see McCallum winning the fight down the stretch on points.

Duran woud beat Jackson based on his boxing ability and counterpunching. He was a very knowledgable fighter and he knew how to use an opponent`s aggression against him.

Roberto Duran TKOs Julian Jackson in 7 or 8 rounds.

I seem to be in the minority, seeing it as a comfortable win for McCallum. Might be close onthe cards, but not reality. Duran has to thumb in a la Moore to have a chance IMO. McCallum was the much better fighter at 154.

Jackson is harder. He could KO Roberto, though.

    Jackson would obliterate Post-Barkley Duran.

Roberto reports the canvas feels strangely smooth against the side of his beard.

Yeah, have a hard time seeing Duran get anything out of this. Jackson punched harder, faster and with more accuracy than Barkley. Barkley was bigger than Jackson, but that's it.

Duran might survice if he fights a cagey fight, but I can't really see him winning except by a blatant robbery.

Wait did people actually pick Duran over McCallum  McCallum obviously beats him, maybe dominated him

Julian Jackson is interesting, very quick and brutal power, Duran could KO him but he absolutely could KO Duran and I think he might against the slower 154lb Duran
