If you are a fan of Duran, you don't want to see the tape with Joppy....:-(

    Just watched it on youtube.

Yeah he was ***** slapped, but was 47 years old, and no where near the sadistic beatngs he gave to some. Noticed he slipped in a few low blows in rd 1, and had his head working, in close (crafty old dog). He amazingly did make Joppy miss and roll with allot, but alas pappa time doesn't let anyone escape him.

Fighting at that age, they never learn. Fighters that is

TRUE! Duran was shot in 1998 at age 47, but he did indeed still have some savy against Joppy, despite his reflexes being shot to hell... Duran never went down but, he was on his way had Joe Cortez allowed the fight to carry on....

I think Moore was a 5-1 favorite big upset along with the Barkley fight which I think he was under 5-1...Dokes was 5-1 over Coetzee

Folks, odds bounce back and forth like wildfire. However, it is normal for odds to narrow real tight after the weigh-in... The weigh-in can say a lot about an underdog who is either old or aging.... I know early betters were getting 4 to 1 odds on the fight... The late Jimmy Jacobs went on record calling this "Duran-Moore" bout a gross mismatch and he claimed that Duran might even get hurt in the ring by Moore... Peace...

The odds i always quote are the long term ones. They usually cover everything until right before the fight. Individual bookies might give this or that, but i quote the set odds.
