Duran by decision over 12, possible stoppage over 15. I think Duran could close on PBF quickly, cut off the ring, smother, and mug PBF for the most part.

I explained it on the first page, i think Floyd has a very unique defensive style that Duran is perfectly equipped to deal with, it'd cancel out Floyd's speed, because he wouldnt be able to utilize it effectively.

Duran wins unless Ray Leonard forces beer and burritos down his neck forcing Duran to get out of shape, Ray Leonard forces Duran to take diuretics, Ray Leonard forces him to train near noisy prisons

Damn Cheating Ray Leonard, I'm worried Mayweather might play the exact same dirty tricks

I am a fan of PBF but anyone who calls Duran overrated is delusional. I view this fight as a toss up.

No, I can't believe you said that because you're hardwired for Duran hate. I would've been less surprised if you'd picked Paulie Malignaggi to knock out Duran with the first grazing shot he landed than for you to pick him over Mayweather. I'm exaggerating, but you get my drift.

Well, I don't know. Fighters who got on their bike and didn't give Duran the chance to get off usually had a degree of success, if only by limiting his output (e.g. Viruet). The way I see it, Duran was a brawler, but didn't just charge in constantly, and often liked the opponent to take the lead so he could slip and get inside. Somebody who jabs and moves and stops him getting in their face would do ok.

I'd like to congratulate you all for lasting until the second page before the token post about Floyd fighting Castillo came in. And it didn't even accuse him of losing. I'm impressed.

Why not at 135, Duran's best weight?

I go with sanity instead. Duran by homicide.

Too true. He is eminently beatable. People see him parrying the shots of overmatched opponents and think he is invincible. His self-propaganda has convinced people he is the 21st century Ray Leonard, but he is nothing of the sort.

Duran is the overrated one not Floyd. Duran couldn't beat overrated fighters like Leonard and Hit me Hearns and Benitez!!!!!! How would he beat a refined guy like Floyd????? Duran had trouble with boxers and anyone who was good!!!!!! And Leonard and Hearns do not compare to Floyd!!!!
