    Damn.

Duran gave a faded Cuevas a beating at 147, gave Moore a brutal beating at 154 and beat Barkley at 160, as well as surviving and fighting well against Hagler.

I think at his best Duran would win because he's crafty enough to keep this fight close, too close for Tito to get off with his hooks and get his power into his punches. Watch how a shot Whitaker outfights Tito on the inside for the first 7 rounds of their fight and you'll get an idea of why I think Duran at his best would, even if it's a big call against a beast like Tito.

i've alwasy felt hagler carried duran in that fight Pea. but dam Duran was one hell of a fighter. im going to have to go with TITO on this one he was almost unstoppable at 154 but could be outboxed. and i don't think duran would box .

At 147lbs Tito was very comfortable with Orthodox stanced shorter fighters and didn't need much room to throw punches I mean looking at how Campas got hit, he was shoulder to shoulder with Tito and thats where Tito had his most leverage. My prediction is that Duran would fight Tito left shoulder to left shoulder in an all out war probably. This is a toss up I guess who ever takes the lick'n and keeps on tick'n wins this one.

It would be better if it was at 147. If Hopkins could get in Tito's head, there's no doubt than Duran could as well. Duran 8 rounds to 4 in a high action fight.

Duran would outbox Trinidad and then wear him down with rough in-fighting for the KO in the later rounds.

Oh damn 154? I thought i read 147 lol. Oh man thats where Tito wasn't weight drained and he was in his zone. Then I'd favor Tito if we're talking about the Tito who was at his optimum weight like in his fights with Thiam and Reid.

Hagler did not carry him. He had no reason to. They disliked each other and were all about some trash-talking. Duran was just a very sneaky, crafty fighter, and Hagler utilized the wrong gameplan.
