I cannot see anything other than a close fight. Don't see why anyone would objectively think one guy who "whoop" or dominate the other.

whitaker......2 fast of foot, the best defense, and the best jab. Nobody stops whitaker and he doesnt get tired.

Sweet Pea's jab and movement will give Duran too much trouble.

I think it would be close either way, and they would each win one or two out of a series.

In Fight Night Champions ( highest difficulty), I lost to Duran as Whitaker but KO'd and dominated Whitaker in 3 rounds, then again in the rematch. Therefor it is safe to say that Duran would win

    Prime Duran would outbox Whitaker.

Quite possibly the greatest fantasy match up that could be made. I picked Whitaker but I honestly don't know.

Name me one other fight aside from Hagler where Leonard fought like he did in the Duran rematches.

I was actually watching Leonard-Hagler the other day and thinking about how people always talk about how Leonard mind-****ed Hagler into boxing right-handed and being more patient.

In actuality, Leonard fought way out of his norm in that bout than Hagler did out of his norm. Hagler always switched from southpaw to orthodox and usually was more patient and methodical (although he shouldn't have been so much in this fight, even Petronelli said later on he wanted Hagler to be more aggressive). Leonard didn't normally fight so fleet-footed and he usually put more on his shots.

This revisionist history in boxing needs to stop.
