Seldom have i ever witnessed so cruel a fighter as Ike. Would even Duran have cause to fear him?

Yes. Williams would be able to counter his attacks with clean, hard punches to the body, something Duran was always open to but no one he fought at 135 had the tools to really take advantage of.

Duran would likely have to change his style and box/counter like he did in the third DeJesus fight, and I don't know if he could've pulled that off against Williams, who was taller, rangier and all-around better than DeJesus.

Nasty Ike vs. macho Duran...Roberto surely hates competition for boxing's ultimate badass....El Cholo would have his hands full here, and gets a taste of what it's like fighting somebody with a mean streak similar to his...after 15 rounds of hammering each other, Duran eeks out a SD, as his defense/boxing skills make the difference, albeit barely.
