Would Gayweather actually fight Duran? Uf he ducked Margarito, why tyhe hell would he fight Duran? BTW, where is the thread dedicated entirely to me? Why was it deleted?????
Roberto knew how to move his head to get inside and then spend 15 rds breaking ribs and hitting jaws with short punches and clinching for a breather, actually what Hatton wanted to do against Floyd but he didn't know how to penetrate... I guess Duran was the best lightweight of recent times so he would beat Marquez. One version of Duran of Montreal 1978 would really dispute a toss-up anybody fight with Pacquiao. Something tells me that Duran may fade and get frustrated like in the Superdome, NO, against Floyd at his best like he did against SRL tho.
Duran beat Sugar Ray in their first fight. What makes you think he couldn't steam roll Floyd's defensive skills?
Marquez would lose a (maybe close) decision, Pac would knock Duran out, Floyd would win a wide decision.
Duran would beat all three. He would have the hardest time with Marquez though because of his style. He would take a lot of Durans aggression away from him and have success with his tight combos. Duran would have good moments also and I think it would be a pretty even and entertaining fight at lightweight. Eventually Duran would Manny would be a good fight, but a comfortable win on points. Floyd would be more of a slower pace fight, but I think Duran would basically outhustle Floyd and take him to places hes never been before.
He would beat everyone except Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather would school him, too skilled , too smart and too fast. Duran can't handle movement, skill and defensive boxing at a high level, SRL showed that in the 2nd fight.
Up till 1980 and at lightweight he does destroy all three.Later and heavier the fights would be at the very least more competitive.
