Do you think i should have had that as my last one on the list, rather than Ishimatzu? Was a bit rushed my list

definetely.Duran was very young and Marcel was pretty good after he lost to Duran he went on to beat Alexis Arguello and Samuel Serrano later in his career.

I know, just rushed , thanks for bringin' me to my senses there, so with Marcel rather than Ishimatsu, and considerin' that ive only counted each name once, regardin' Dejesus, i think my list is his top 10, what do you think?? The Castro win is in there because of Duran's circumstance at the time.

:-( One of the fights Duran was well and truely lost in there. Not an impressive performance. A fight that certainly puts an end to the myth "Duran never had problems with movers" The crowd even booed the decision. He won, but not convincingly.

I seen the fight for the first time only a couple of months ago.

The Duran never had problems with movers thing only really sprung up because any Duran thread was likely to have had posters mentioning all it needed was lateral movement to beat Duran and referencing the Leonard rematch, or that he struggled every time he fought anyone mobile.

The truth of course is usually somewhere in between, or in Duran's case closer to him not having problems than otherwise. It tended to be the ones that offered up the least offense where he looked most lacklustre.

Fernandez, Viruet and Bizarro were all truly tedious fights.

.................I'm really surprised to see not one, but several votes for the Cuevas win. I'm afraid I don't understand that one; Cuevas, in his dilapidated condition, was nothing like what he had been pre-Hearns. In fact by then it was almost a stretch to call him a top flight fighter anymore.

Is it the name or that fight being a springboard to Moore that some of you rate it so highly?

I was one of the people who listed Pipino. I guess it was because he was a good named opponent. But I didn't realize that he was in bad shape like you say, so I'll take your word for it.

How could you leave out Ernesto Marcel? the man who beat one of the greatest featherweights ever Alexis Arguello

i thought duran lost to barkley, he cheated against moore by thumbing him. Its hard to feel bad for him seeing him get beat by joppy after what he did to moore
