All the olympic champions from 2016 are turning pro with the exception of Julio La Cruz and Arlen Lopez, I was surprised yesterday when I found that Zhakhobidin Zoirov (olympic champion at 52kg) is turning pro with MTK Global. Dusmatov is a great addition to the pro game, he won the Val Barker trophy in 2016 and barely lost a round during the entire tournament, he is really fast and elusive but I believe that he can do damage if he sits on his punches since he is really explosive like most olmypians from Uzbekistan, however I believe that Zoirov is even a better prospect, fast hands and feet with cat reflexes.
I'm pleased to see they're allowing midgets to participate in the sport. Progress is such a wonderful thing.
