Dustin Poirier vs. Justin Gaethje & Carlos Condit vs. Alex Oliveira RBR

Why do Poirier and Gaethje have a 5 and 6 respectively beside their names in the round clock graphic?

 

Oh is that what they're each ranked @ lightweight within the UFC?

you dustin I can't wait to see that guy knocked out by a top 3 guy can't stand him lol.

 

Poirier is a bit of an arrogant but I was glad to "see" him recover from the eye pokes and register a stoppage.

 

Premature stoppage.

 

Gaethje is gonna have CTE at this rate.

 

Good fight but not the wild slugfest that I thought it was going to be.

 

Ye Got heart but comes across as arrogant and a jock type to me.. Justin needs to take time off his career gonna be short and gonna have brain damage if not careful he takes way 2 many shots.. he could lose everyfight though and I would still like watching him my favorite fighter in the ufc right now.

 

Gaethje has the heart and the individual skills but not the overall striking experience, like many MMA guys he cant put it all together. He tries to elbow when it's perfect knee distance, he keeps peppering the low kick when the mid kick power variation would work better for him and it's no real change in the fight dynamic. Bad advice from his corner to just stay on the legs, 60% leg with a mix of power to the body and head...he was fighting a southpaw FFS. ANyway, enjoyed the fight. Thought Gaethje fought his way back in to throw it away.
