[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] Duva denies Peter UK deal!
    By Karl Freitag
Dino Duva, co-promoter of WBC heavyweight champion Sam Peter, has denied a claim made by promoter Frank Warren that there is a deal in place for Peter to face either Matt Skelton or Audley Harrison at London's O2 Arena on July 12th. "I am stating that as of now, there is no deal," Duva wrote in an email to Fightnews. "I am working on different options right now for Sam for July, and a fight in the UK is one of them." He also wrote "If there were a deal, it would be done and announced by Duva Boxing." Warren said he reached the agreement with Don King, who also owns a share of the promotional rights to Peter. Stay tuned...

Looks liek Fwank got to big for his boots again :yep

I think Frank has jumped the gun a bit. Duva is a bit of a dick, so he is probably pissed off that he was not informed before Warren released the story.

Yeh Duva is don kings ***** when it comes to Peter. Peter will make more money fighting an easy opponent in the 02 than a hard one in US.

Yep, it sounds like Duva has jut had his nose put out of joint by not being kept informed. The fight will happen, its a great one for Peter.

Not to worry they'll just put WBU world champion Matt Skelton in against Bobby Gunn.... who'll notice?

I think I would. Peter is shorter than Gunn, very easy to notice.
