Duva makes no sense (Beterbiev-Berrera)

Wow, she has ZERO confidence in her pull at the purse bid vs Haymon's.

He wins, they make it in Canada where it makes the most money. She wins, issue solved, fight takes place in the US.

ZERO confidence.

 

This is one of the reasons why I don't really take her seriously.

 

Were Barrera's issues unknown when he and Duva called out Pascal for a fight in Canada after the Gonzalez decision?

If Barrera cannot fight in Canada and is willing to fight in the US where Beterbiev last fought at, I don't understand why Beterbiev's team won't take it? What's so special about Canada?

Hmmm, I think a month and a half ago would count as the recent past, and that may be something you'd look into before calling an opponent out for a fight. Unless of course your intent had nothing to do with making a fight at all.

 

If Beterbiev fights Yunieski it's a good fight too. Yunieski is monstrous. He was clearly robbed against Pascal.

 

Immigration issues really do take a long time. Anyone remember Doudou N'Gumbo and Diego Chaves? It had to take a senator's interference in Chaves' case. It also took me a long time to get a passport. This stuff does take a while.

So Beterbiev should just be left waiting around to get his eliminator because Duva and Barrera didn't have their **** together?

 

Beterbiev will take the Kovalev fight when he becomes the mandatory after this fight and the purse bid guarantees both he and Kovalev far more money than Duva was putting up.
