Looks like Duva would like to make this fight for the undercard of Kovalev-Pascal on 3-14.

Beterbiev's promoter says they want Beterbiev to headline his own card in February though.

I like the Beterbiev-Chilemba fight and that would make the 3-14 card very strong with Glazkov-Cunningham being lined up for it too.

Very interesting fight. Would be very impressed if he could beat chilemba at this stage.

Beterbiev gets hit way too easy. I don't seen him being able to beat the top 175lbers. The Chilemba fight would be interesting, though I favor Chilemba.

That's cool that Duva would want Beterbiev on the undercard, it means she has a view to making Kovalev-Beterbiev.

Not one bit afraid of the big fights.

I dont think beterbiev fights that well on the outside, but once he crowds ya inside, it looks impossible to get rid off him, your in a world of pain. So i still have guys like kovalev and hopkins to beat him maybe stevenson at this stage.

The guy just fought (& KO'd) #7 Cloud and could be lining up #6 Chilemba and he beat Kovalev in the amateurs. If Beterbiev beats Chilemba, then top 5 is the next step and you know Kova will be the only willing opponent.

These guys have long amateur careers and Loma fought Salido in just his second fight.

On paper...Chilemba won both fights in the ring.

After watching his last fight he kinda reminds me of kostya tszyu , early in kostya's pro career. I blame it on the trainers to be honest. It would be better if beterbiev went to the U.S. and got a great trainer. I'm not disrespecting the current trainer but the U.S. Trainers are so superior to anywhere else.
By comparing him to tszyu, what I mean is, tszyu went from being a skilled boxer in the amateurs to being a brawler for a large chunk of his pro career.

Beterbiev is a bit like Lomachenko in that he's angling for a world title fight sooner rather than later. And he's ALREADY ranked in the top 10 of 3 of the 4 ABCs.

One more top 10 win and he's ready for a title shot. Is what it is.

And if KD is smart, she'll get Kovalev that fight sooner rather than later and have to listen to the clowns talk about ducking etc.:think

YVON MICHEL REJECTS BETERBIEV-CHILEMBA ON KOVALEV-PASCAL CARD

Yvon Michel, the promoter of Artur Beterbiev 7-0 (7 KOs) has rejected an offer from Kathy Duva, to have the Russian take on Isaac Chilemba 23-2 (10 KOs) in March as the co-feature, to Sergey Kovalev's fight against Jean Pascal in Canada.

Duva explains that the idea of that fight came from Chilemba, who had asked to fight Beterbiev, prior to seeing his fight with Jeff Page Jr.

As of now though, Beterbiev-Chilemba seems like it would have to wait a for a bit longer, since Michel informed that Beterbiev would be headlining his own show in February, a month before Kovalev-Pascal.
