Yeah I'd agree he's more than likely wrong on this one but hes the kind of guy I'd like to see in our studios for covering fights.

British tv seems to go by the golden rule, if you haven't boxed then you're not an expert. I'd love to see a 'fan' interacting with other panelists in a respectful, knowledgeable way.

    Could it work?

(British coverage of NFL is a good example of this set up)

I don't want to be a *****, but, can you summarize what he says?

Because I keep hearing how this Dwyer fella is pretty accurate with his predictions and analysis. But no matter how hard I try, I've never been able to listen to more than 30 seconds of him. His voice is painfully irritating, and it prevents me from watching any of his vids properly.

How you've not been banned for that is a mystery.

amir is just a different entity under roach. He now knows how to hit while on the move, picks his moments much better and uses his hand speed which is his main attribute to his advantage.

Maidana could certainly catch him clean and take him out early. The cayo fight clearly showed maidana has no problems getting beat to the punch and having to rethink his strategy.

But over 12rounds as long as khan doesnt get stupid he should box maidana to a 12round decision

If I get good odds on Maidana I will take it..

But If I had to stake my life on one of them winning, it would be Khan..

    If that makes sense...

Think the first odds that came out was 13/5 the stoppage.

    EDIT-someones posted the odds already

You have to see it from a gambling point of view though...

I'm sure if he was given €1000 on one of them to win he would simply go for the favourite. But, the fact is the odds that may have been offered to him might of been too good to turn down.

He probably knows that Khan has the best chance of winning, but Maidan does represent some value and has got a slight chance...

I'm gonna wait for all the Khan fans to lump on closer to the fight and see if i can get better odds on Maidana :good

Not big money, but just a small gamble...

Plenty of people did. I thought Murat would score the upset, saying that Dwyer has good reasoning but gets it wrong a lot recently.

Murat over Cleverly was a terrible prediction whichever way you look at it. I'm not sure how anyone looks at those fighters and comes out with the conclusion Murat is the more likely to win of the two when virtually nothing is in his favour. The only way he ever wins is by a one punch KO really and there was no guarantee he had that power.

As for this fight, for all the talk of china chinned Khan, those picking Maidana should probably look closer to home also. Khan has the better speed, better footwork, he's got the better chance of scoring the knockout.

Any thoughts on the opening prices?

Strangely for Sportingbet it's pretty much what I'd expect to see.

Thats all well and good, but this is boxing and all it takes is one big punch and the supposed favourite could be outta there.(e.g Prescott fight)

If your gambling small and for a bit of a laugh, i still think putting money on Maidana aint a bad shout for the neutral.
