I maintain Dwyer's analysis is interesting and worth a listen, but he's not some type of genius. He's just a dude that likes boxing that makes predictions. His predictions have been off of late, he kinda built his rep on the Hop/Pavlik and Marg/Mosley predictions.

 

He also picks as a gambler, not just as an analyst (though some of his analysis is very misguided at times). So he'll choose what he thinks would be a good bet, not the same as picking who will win.

 

and to think he is a Stanford grad, what a way to waste such an education.

 

I'm sure he works in some high-paid industry.
