Dwight Braxton by murder. If Iran Barkley could beat him on the inside,(although Tommy was past it) then Braxton would destroy him. Hearns beat Hill, which is very impressive, but the styles between Hill and Braxton are like night and day.

We're talking the shot Hearns who actually fought at LHW?

    Braxton via slaughter.

    Shot?

    He beat an undefeated Hill.

    Hardly shot.

IMO...If Qawi charged from his corner as he did against Martin and Sadd...Hearns would be fortunate to last 3/4 rounds. Qawi was a force at light heavy.

Maybe "shot" wasn't the best word.

"Fairly far past his prime" would be more accurate.

Yeah, and I'd agree with that.

Michael Spinks kept Braxton off him by landing that big right hand
    early, that got Dwight's attention.

Spinks then boxed the rest of the night to win the UD.

Hearns just wasn't a natural LtHvy, and his type of right hand Braxton had already walked thru against Saad, Martin, Rossman & Davis.

    Braxton in 5 rounds.

Hearns one of my favorites but Braxton just too strong for him.

I have spoken to Dwight many times as he resides in the area and is a youth counselor for Lighthouse. Nice man. He does not seem to follow the fight game too closely anymore as he is a very busy man at the crisis center. Anyway, at LHWT he would have been too much for Hearns. Dwight by kayo.

It would be interesting. Braxton looks like a larger version of Aaron Pryor with some Duran shiftiness.
