Qawi is a nightmare for Toney.

James thrived off of taking apart face first guys like Barkley, Williams, and Jirov, but he'd greatly struggle with Qawi's slick, educated pressure.

    Camden Buzzsaw by UD.

Qawi UD. Toney struggled with slick boxers (Nunn, Johnson, Jones) & guys with high work rates (Tiberi, Thadzi). Qawi has both of these qualities. Although Toney did good against pressure fighters, he never faced a pressure with the slick boxing skills & work-rate of a Qawi. Should make for a very entertaining fight.

This is exactly correct. Think about Toney's career. After his losses to Montel Griffin which were close fights, he didn't really face many slick fighters. I remember he turned down a title shot against Juan Carlos Gomez most likely because he knew that would be a tough fight stylistically for him. At heavyweight, he always fought slow footed guys like Rahman, Ruiz and Peter.

Qawi vs Toney would be an excellent fight to watch but I would definitely favor Qawi who was so versatile.

It would be close fights. At light heavy, I favour Quawi and at cruiserweight Toney.
