Who takes this one? My money's on the Buzzsaw but it would go the distance in a good and competitive bout.

Qawi is a hell of a task for Hopkins. B-Hop would have a hard time keeping Qawi off of him and keeping the pace slow. I think Qawi's unorthodox shots (thinking of his overhand right in particular) from outside and inside fighting would give B-Hop issues and the fact that Qawi had some slick ability at midrange would add another wrinkle. If Hopkins is able to earn some respect in the trenches, he could begin to dictate the pace from the outside and potentially edge rounds and win a decision. I think Spinks benefitted greatly from the fact that he was a very big LHW vs. Qawi and Hopkins would not have the same luxury. I would probably favor Qawi's activity and physicality.

At 175 I don't see BHOP being able to deal with the pace that Qawi would bring not to mention he doesn't have the power to even put a dent into Qawi. As much as I love BHOP I don't see him winning this one. It's odd to say a 5'7 man is too big for a 6'1 man but that truly is the case in this fight

15 rounds? Qawi chews Hopkins up and stops him sometime around the 13th round give or take.

Qawi all day and twice on Sunday. But not on Friday, as Muslims don't fight on Fridays. Or shouldn't.

I’m going Hopkins. That guy always usually found a way. He was good at stopping the other guy fighting to his strengths. Which is often an overlooked factor. Technically I think Bernard could neutralise the Qawi pressure.

Please explain how you think Hopkins would neutralize Qawi. I'm curious...

Only question is whether Bhop who has been hurt at light heavy on a few occasions sees the finishing line. I do not think he would

I lean towards Qawi but this may not be as forgone as some might think
