For at least the next couple weeks, Qawi wins every hypothetical.

    Qawi would beat Benavidez today.

Benavidez is a good fighter but I'm not ready to compare him to the likes of Qawi.

    Qawi was a special fighter.

I'm not ready to pick him over Qawi after one fight at Cruiserweight. I'm a big fan of Benavidez and am just going to enjoy the ride.

Beating Qawi would be a tall over. That guy was pure hell for Spinks and Holyfield. He was truly a special fighter that has one of the best stories in boxing.

How was he pure hell for Spinks when Spinks easily beat him and Holyfield had ELEVEN FIGHTS.

Great fantasy match up that would be nothing short of a firefight. Benavidez will definitely have his hands full with a pitbull like Qawi. The defense and sneaky counters by Qawi will be the deciding factor in his favor over Benavidez. The younger Holyfield was able to beat Qawi narrowly the first time due to his much higher punch output and stamina. I don’t think Benavidez has the same kind of gas tank that Holyfield had to be able to get by the relentless pressure of Qawi.

Spinks did not easily beat him and Holyfield vs Qawi is one of the more brutal fights you will see. Who gives **** about Holyfield having 11 fights. He had a long amateur background and was an Olympic medalist.

Spinks easily beat him and everyone was let down because at the time it was suppose to be a fantastic match up and people were expecting a good fight which it was not.
Holyfield was an 11 bout novice going 15 rounds and Dwight still could not beat him.
And look what happened once Evander got more experience- he crushed him easily.
I like Dwight but he gets so overrated its annoying.

Quawi beats Benavidez. If this goes 15 rounds, Quawi might even stop him. Quawi is all wrong for Benavidez.
