Joe would be a light heavy in Qawi's time.

    Who wins and why?

are you serious?? Braxton will damage Joe badly.!!!.This guy was past prime and still gave Holyfield a war which I felt He won. Just wrong weight for Joe

Joe would be a light heavyweight under the same-day weigh in rules, like Qawi was up until 84-85 or so.

You felt he beat Holyfield? I felt Holyfield won a good 11 rounds.

Either way, he was better at Light Heavyweight than Cruiserweight, and would be too much for Joe.

That was the arguably the greatest cruiserweight fight of all time. The last great 15 round fight. If it wasnt for knockdowns, qawi clearly

As far as I remember, there were no knockdowns, and I watched that fight recently. Evander just outworked him, landed more punches, etc. I thought it was a very good fight, very entertaining, but Evander was clearly the superior fighter. The rematch is the one where Evander took him out in the 4th.

this is a style fight qawi needs a big puncher and a boxer to keep him off you. and calzaghe as slick as he is i dont think has a style to back qawi up.

and abotu the knockdowns....there wasnt such thing.

in the rematch though there was a strang eturn of events holyfield who is very strong but not recognised as a major puncher. caught qawi flush and qawi just dropped. almost embarresed(his first time in his career) stands up and starts to get humed. qawi takes it then unleashes maybe the hardest right hook ever thrown in a cruiseriweght fight...it missed and a great right hand counters qawi striaght on the jaw all the foreward inertia was put to one point. his chin and he just turned to jelly. ref counts him out for the first time in his career.

Qawi is too big for that Caine head, I'd enjoy the destruction.
