Qawi all the way for me. I admire Walker's achievements north of the Middleweight division, but I don't think he faced anyone there with Qawi's mix of power, hand speed, weaving style and relentless pressure. Qawi had a style which suited accentuating size advantages and Walker is just going to be outgunned here, for me. Also don't think Walker's power above Middleweight was anything more than serviceable - hard to see how he's going to keep Qawi off or discourage him.

Think Walker keeps it competitive for a while, but is hammered like a nail towards the end and gets stopped in the late rounds.

Dwight peaked in 1982 then thankfully for future foes, levelled off for whatever reason

Dwights attack is simply to intense, too concentrated, with a superior bob and weave defense and its not hard to envision Walker, toy bulldog, will fail to answer the final bell

Dwight would win this by decision. Walker was at his best at Welter and Middle.

Qawi is too good to move up a couple of divisions and beat, especially with Walkers style

That is exactly the kind of logic that Walker kept confounding.

He was beating guys like Risko and Uzcdun, who many would have as favorites over Qawi!

He drew against Jack Sharkey ffs!

Qawi hands down. For guy with such a limited amauter background, Qawi could really fight. When I was a kid learning to box my coach would always show us videos of Qawi slipping punches. The guy was amazing defensively and if you did happen to hit him clean he wasn't going anywhere. Walker was a good fighter in his day but way to small to bother Qawi.
