Qawi lights him up, he’d see Galento’s wide punches coming a mile off, would evade them and counter, could go forward or backwards, he could make Galento bite, and step back to create room for himself to counter, he could outjab Galento from low, and could light him up with counter from over the top by getting low, he’d easily predict Galento’s rhythm.

Heart says Galento but mind says Qawi has too much for him. But it's a tough fight

Tony Galento never had so many fights in real life as he does here. I predict his exhausting schedule catches up with him here & Qawi takes full advantage of an over-worked Galento.

Galento would n't get "Moided" and he would be no "Bum" but would be comprehensively outboxed, outfought and stopped before ten rounds were out. Dwight would avoid the majority of Tony's wild swings, get inside and score frequently to his opponent's large stomach and find his chin easier and easier to reach.

Qawi wins unless Galento lands a good, sneaky low blow that sets up his hooks.

Tough match-up to visualise. They were both squat guys well under 6', but going by the recorded heights Galento would have 2-3'' on Qawi. However, Galento looks shorter than 5'9'' in fight footage, and looks significantly shorter than Brando, Steiger and Mauriello in OTW. His listed height may be generous, as when you're below a certain height for a heavy it's almost like people stop paying attention. Orlin Norris could get away with being referred to as 5'11'' when he clearly wasn't.

At most points in their career Galento would have a hefty weight advantage, but how much of that was just fat rather than anything practical is debatable.

Galento lost to plenty sub 200 fighters, so even if Qawi comes in on the lighter side I'm not sure it would make that much difference.

Qawi obviously has the greater skills, and would be very difficult to catch clean. Galento would have a puncher's chance, but it's hard to look past Qawi picking him apart and probably stopping him on cuts.

The skill difference between the two is immense Qawi would light up Galento barring Galento landing a hail mary punch.

With the choir on this one, Qawi goes full buzzsaw on Tony who ends up as not quite two ton Tony because of the lumps knocked off of him...

Qawi would annihilate Galento. Too much technique, Qawi is too adept at getting rid of, getting under, and getting away from big shots while delivering missiles of his own. Would be a fun fight and a sensational attrition beating before a KO within 7-8 rounds.
