How would light heavyweight champion Qawi fare against world heavyweight champion, Tommy Burns? :think

My first impulse is to pick Dwight, but not confidently. Burns is very underrated.

Burns beat decent heavyweights, Qawi isn't blowing him away .He might get his head handed to him here.

I think that you're underestimating Burns big time. He was the heavyweight champion of the world, had fairly good movement, and had a heck of a right hand. Maybe Dwight would beat him, but it wouldn't be a cakewalk. By the way, cool handle, John Galt. I found out who John Galt was in 2012 while campaigning for Ron Paul.

Yeah, I don't agree that Qawi would run through Burns in 30 seconds but based on the clip that Galt posted, I'd expect Qawi to outbox him soundly. Qawi's jabbing & countering skills, coupled with his elusive head movement, would give Burns a ton of problems. Also had a great chin and physical strength (appears to be naturally bigger than Burns).

I agree with all of this.

I call that style of fighting "plan and pounce" and I think it's a huge liability against opponents with good jabs, head movement, and footwork (especially one as strong and sturdy as Qawi).
