I don't think so. Not at cruiser. Dwight was no destroyer in that division and Ice was a good boxer with a good chin. A solid fighter. He's hardly an easy guy to get out of there and I just don't see Qawi getting him out of there. And if he cannot get the ko, I sure don't see him winning 7 rounds to get the decision. JC Gomez would be another tough tough bout for Qawi at cruiser. He was a lot more formidable at lh & the more he moves up, the tougher things get.
This would be a tough fight for Dwight He was never the steamrolling beast at 190 lbs that he was at 175 lbs. I'd say the 1986 version of Dwight, the one that warred with Holyfield, would have a shot to beat prime Cole. He'd have to cut off the ring and work the body from the start. I think if he was in the best shape possible, he could slow Cole down and dominate the late rounds. Over 15 rounds, Dwight would win a decision. If it was a 12 rounder, Cole might squeak out a close decision or draw. As far as if they fought when Cole was champion, Cole would most likely win a comfortable decision.
Gomez is faster and more skillful than Holyfield who is recognized as the greatest Cruiserweight of all time, lol you're either trolling or blind
Lol you're hysterical dude I've been watching boxing for over 30 years live and this is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard in my life Gomez better than Holyfield give me a break
It is really not interesting to discuss with you.Your knowledge about boxing seems limited. Holyfield is considered by many as the best cruiserweight of all times.
