As an inexperienced 22 year old, Doug dropped a decision to master craftsman Harold Johnson in a Lt Heavy Title fight, after chasing the champ most of the fight in a gallant effort, as a heavyweight he went one for one with the shifty Billy Daniels, Zora Folly and at the end of his Career and not really relevant, Boone Kirkman, really Doug just wanted someone to Trade with him, sadly for Doug when they did it was true heavyweights Like Chuvalo and Frazier and Doug found the class ones a shade too powerful for him... - Doug by Modern standards was a Cruiserweight, Dwight Qawi the former "Buzzsaw" Braxton successfully moved up to Cruiser from Lt Heavy Whilst he didnt chew them up in quite the same fashion he could still be diminutive tall order terror. Lets say the Doug who pushed Clay all the way in losing, against the Dwight who gave Holyfield that Fright Night in losing,... nobody has to go looking for anybody this time...Doug or Dwight ?
I liked Jone's short right hand which would catch Dwight but not as often as Qawi's better arsenal. Dwight might stop Doug but I'll go with a clear dec. win.
Doug Jones vs Harold Johnson was a 171lbs catchweight for the 175lbs title. Still Johnson had 2 run for his life during the entire 15rds from the drained Jones. Jones >> Johnson Jones vs Clay was a robbery. Qawi did not exactly lose 2 Holyfield in their 1st fight either. I watched it at least 2 times and no way did Holyfield beat him in any way .
I was just starting to be able to read your off way of writing words, your not going to go normal writ on us are you frank?
