John Thomas is not the benchmark. He picks everybody over James Toney.

As you can see from my earlier post I picked Dwight at 175 and Toney at 190, so I agree with the general idea that Toney would be more efficient at 190 in this matchup

You hang off his nuts endlessly and at this point every man and their hound knows it. Own it.

Actually I regularly pick boxers overs Toney. For instance in this matchup I picked Dwight at 175. You pick everbody over Toney. And you pick Hopkins over nearly everybody (in all those years I can only remember one instance where you picked Hopkins to lose). Your lack of objectivity has been obvious to everybody for years now.

Your self awareness is ZERO. You're a renowned Toney nuthugger and apologist and get hissy when everyone picks against him. Every thread you're in there thrusting the positives for him down everyone's throat. Every loss there's an excuse, oh he wasn't in shape oh he was weight drained ohhhhhhhhhh. Every close fight you score for Toney and you're banging on at DP this very thread about Toney won this and that and DP's point is a misconception. I could throw up 100 quotes of yours making excuses for him and saying he won this and that fight. I make my picks for Hopkins and move on i don't live in the thread all bug eyed quoting people left right and centre but but but but and you know nothing etc etc.

You're on page 2 of this very thread telling a guy his knowledge is limited because he mentioned Griffin and here you are almost a decade later banging on about Griffin again. Next post you're telling a guy his post is nonsense, Toney is the best of the last 25 years at avoiding the right hand. Talk about rich. You carry on like this in virtually every Toney thread. Every fight I've ever picked Hopkins in there has been far better posters than myself expressing the same. Feel free to point out H2H threads where i'm carrying on like a pork chop for Hopkins again and again and again and getting all hissy and triggered. I'll wait.

Your post is pretty much nitpicking. John, the fact is that in nearly every thread you pick Hopkins. The fact that you are even complimenting yourself for picking Hopkins each time is hillarous. And in nearly every thread you pick against Toney. Since years you do this. That tells the whole story right there, there is nothing more to say.

Yet, I pick other boxers to regularly beat Toney. So it is clear which poster tries to be objective.

You should finally acknowledge this point and move on. But even if not, facts are facts. It is a shame because aside from Toney and Hopkins, your posts are usually pretty decent.

If Toney moved immediately from 168 to 175 during his reign to make a fight specifically with Qawi, Toney

    At CW Toney.

I think everyone acknowledges that Toney during nearly his entire time at LHW went through the dark ages. Hell, he was fighting at CW I think most of the time he was technically a LHW. That Toney wouldn't beat Qawi. Toney is one of those fighters where an almost guaranteed win would end up being a loss depending on how fat he was at the time. smh

That's true, Goo, but if good versions of these two show up it could also be a tactical masterclass. One for the purists but a bit 'technical' for the average fan.

But agree totally. What an interesting match up. The pre fight press conferences would be a hoot. Two of the nastiest in-ring personas ever, to boot.

The nitpicking was started by you bud. Nitpicking that i pick Hopkins all the time then nitpicking i don't pick your hero Toney. Name dropping me and getting triggered when DP mentioned my leaning.

I wasn't "complimenting" myself for "picking Hopkins each time" i was defending myself from your nitpicking. If you somehow got that from what i said perhaps you are a little slow, or a lot. Top shelf posters having the same opinion tells me i am hardly going out on a limb which was the entire point. Meanwhile you give votes for James Toney beating Usyk for ****s sake!!!! The hide

You don't like Hopkins and my picking him on a consistent basis triggers you because, well, you are like that. I don't think near as much of Toney as you do and my picking against Toney triggers you, because you are not only like that but you are a nuthugger as well. As I've pointed out you are on this very thread years back getting narky at posters over Toney. This week you are nipping at DP, a poster whose jock you would not be able to carry. I could find dozens of quotes across many years of you doing the same. You got severely narky defending Toney, a steroid cheat, claiming all sorts of rot despite quotes from the doctor involved etc. He can do no wrong.

If you cannot mentally handle people picking Hopkins or picking against your boy Toney i highly recommend not opening those threads. This is about the third time you've whined at me out of the blue.

You pick Hopkins in every thread and against Toney in every thread since years, and you call that nitpicking????:lol::lol::lol:
Your lack of objectivity has been exposed. There is nothing really more to say.

You try to open some sidelines to distract and I am not even going to get into that kind of BS. My point has been made.

There's something more to say. You are an absolute liar with zero credibility. Below are FOUR occasions i picked against Hopkins. Quite simply you are full of it and nothing you say can be taken for granted.

To sate your lust I've also included a couple of times i picked your man Toney.

Now stop lying it isn't a good look.

P.S. The sidelines owned you i would have run away from them too.

And you continue nitpicking. It makes no difference to my point on your lack of objectivity (it is true for nearly every thread). You are just taking everything litteral and trying to open meaningless sides. It is all smokes and mirror with you. John, you are just a disingenuous poster and I am glad I exposed you for what you are.

    - You pick Jones (against whom Hopkins already lost!), Ray Robinson (the best P4P fighter of all time!) and Bob Foster (the best light heavyweight of all time! ) over Hopkins. Well congratulations

    - You pick Toney over Briscoe a slow plodding guy who is tailor made for Toney.

If you can't do better than that, this is just silly beyond belief.

Ok, I guess then you can't do any better than your silly picks. It is funny how you get all emotional and upset . As noted in previous threads, it is clear you have never been in a boxing ring.

If you think i am emotional and upset over this rot you need to lay down the crack pipe.

More than happy to put down a $10k bet I've been in a boxing ring. I'll round up 5 or 10 witnesses and at least one ex trainer for that loot. Back your mouth up.

I'd be surprised if anyone in here hasn't been in a boxing ring. That's simple common sense you should try it sometime.
