Dwight Qwai vs. Billy Conn

I actually agree with you..Conn Couldnt hit and against Dwights pressure and heavyhands thats bad news..Qwai would wear him down and stop him late

 

I would make the point that Conn had considerable sucess against pressure fighters like Melio Bettina and Gus Lesnevich.

I would also suggest that whatever the outcome Conns chin would see him to the final bell. Remember only Joe Louis ever stopped Conn.

 

Qawi had trouble with Spinks movement (bad knees and all). I think Conn was a better mover than Spinks. I like Conn by clear decision.

 

Wow. This would be an unbelievable match.

 

I like Qawi and don't think Conn has the power to gain enough respect from him. The Buzzsaw will just keep buzzing all the way to a UD.

I heard Barry McGuigan say that he picks a good chin over a good punch and in this fight i think it would prove truthfull.

I think Conn whilst not being able to hurt Qawi, he would be able to keep him honest.

Qawi was a frightening swarming beast of a light-heavyweight, but I think Conn figures Qawi out and grits out a split decision.

It would be like Qawi-Holyfield I but even more furious.
