He didn’t say Toney would beat Wlad.

He suggested that Toney would still be suprisingly competive opponents like Kevin McBride, Michael Grant and Watch because of his upper body movement and their inability to outmaneuver him.
Toney has lost his footmovement but he still has good upper body movement

 

no his actual job is to give people good bets be it longshots or straddle bets.he can't just pick a 20/1 underdog just for the price,he has to believe he has a good chance of victory

No he doesn't. Dude, I know you're a Toney fan but as such you should recognize what absolute **** his upper body movement has become. Go watch some old prime Toney footage. Hell, even Cruiserweight/early heavyweight Toney.

He took unnecessary flush shots from Matthew Greer. He took an inordinate # of flush shots from Lebedev that the Toney of decades past would have scoffed at the idea of even being grazed with.

His legs are shot.

His above-the-waist defense is also shot.

He's done.

Celebrate his legacy, his longevity, whatever...just don't tout him after what happened yesterday as still being a potential player in any division. Surprisingly competitive with McBride? Is that supposed to be a good thing? He might not lose, but he wouldn't look good...and he'd get hit a lot, which is just how it goes with him now. Grant and Wach would beat him now, and it would be very sad to behold for any of us who appreciated what Toney used to be.

I have to warn you, I'm horrifically handsome. We're talking like Mikkel Kessler level. A lot of people would become very insecure with their sexuality if they subscribed to my station.

I didn’t say he is player in the division. Just thought that guy’s point him being more competive with stationary heavy’s than odd makers would think was good.

If I could choose Toney would either retire or fight regional fighter from here on.

I disagree. The ATG Lebedev just had Toney's number, I doubt any version of Toney stands a chance against an ironed chinned warrior like Denis. It's just a very bad match up for Toney where he is always going to struggle.
